MUMBO Connection    

The MUMBO Connection is a member-led organization whose mission is to build local power and to intervene in displacement inflicted on our communities, specifically by supporting Black women in leadership positions. The MUMBO Connection is committed to the fight against racial inequities across the world, and we know that Black women and their allies are uniquely positioned to lead in that fight.

Coalition of Concerned Mothers

Established in November 2015, Mothers from around the DMV and across the country reach out to our organization for support, comfort, or as a resource as they transition to a new normal way of life. We vow to stand in solidarity with them in their journey for justice including through the various phases of grief, legal, and legislative processes.

Social Education Centering Sex

Our mission is to facilitate community led justice practices, re-educate + stimulate activation of new framework around sex + consent to create safer spaces in our communities.

Black Artists Research Space

Black Artist Research Space (Bars) is a curatorial collective that presents collaborations between artists. The collective combines historical methods of resistance with creative practice in order to build upon an archive that holds a record of what connectivity amongst creatives can yield.

Love Groove

The Love Groove Festival is changing the landscape for young Baltimore performing and visual artists! Rather than rising artists learning the ropes on their own, Love Groove is designed as a community support approach to provide performance, educational, and networking opportunities for young artists (ages 16–40).

Skarie Studio

SKARIE Studios—formerly Open Studio DC—is artist Carolyn Hartmann’s screenprinting studio and collaborative venture in Baltimore, MD. While SKARIE Studios is primarily home to Hartmann’s creative practice, it’s also a collaborative partner to NoMüNoMü.
